DoFollow Wordpress Plugin

Most of u who own a blog will always want to boost your Google Page rank. By default wordpress will add “rel=nofollow” to comments URI. Even if u commented a lot to any wordpress blogs, u wont be rewarded with higher google page rank because of this wordpress behaviour. DoFollow wordpress plugin will automagically remove this “nofollow” tag . I just installed this plugin to kucau.net. So, for those who want to boost their Google Page rank please leave comments on my blog :) .

UPDATE: For unknown reason, Dofollow plugin is not working on my site. U can check if this plugin is working or not by using this firefox plugin.Currently , linklove plugin seems able to remove “nofollow” tag from comments URI. By default this plugin will only remove “nofollow” tag if the commentor has commented more than 10 times. U can change this behaviour by editing var $allpassion_comment_count = 1o; just change 10 to whatever value u like. I changed mine to 1 :). U can download linklove plugin here.

    wordpress can really be a pain… They told me that plugins were not possible to embed into my blog.
    So how on earth can I?

    Great suggestion :) I don’t know why people have nofollow tag since now killing spam is easy with the Akismet plugin.

    I’ve also just installed the plugin but noticed when I enable it now the nofollow tag is replaced by : rel=’external nofollow’. What’s the difference here? Does this mean it’s not working?

  8. @cindy , i think its working . ermm i should be comenting more on ur blog. Cindy, i think editing comments.php would be good to inform users that commenting in your blog will boost your PR. otherwise ppl simple wont notice

  19. @judy , have u set the Nofollow timeout options for Dofollow plugin? u have to go to your wordpress admin and go to options > Dofollow . set days when dofollow will expired , ive set mine to 365 days. it should work

    just count the number of comments comming in :)
    but don’t forget to promote it! and, think about also installing the top commenters plugin.

    the tool i use is a firefox plugin [http://]www[.]quirk[.]biz/searchstatus/ .

    it is really hepfull to for:
    - seeing no follow links
    - meta tags of any site, without viewing the pagesource
    - robots of any site
    - etc

  51. It is good that you have joined the DoFollow movement, although my Firefox search status is still showing pink rectangles on the comments.

    I removed the nofollow tags from comments last June, and so far it’s working out pretty well.
