How to cheat Assthrow?
This is a good solution for those who want to share your Assthrow account. You only need one Asstrow account to do this; one account can be used up to 5 receivers. Each receiver can be individually controlled simultaneously.
(The white box is the splitter)
U need a device called Card Splitter to use this cheat hack. I think the above picture explain pretty good on how the Splitter works. You only need to slot your smardcard to the Splitter. Cabling between Card splitter and all the receivers is via RJ11.More picture of the device below.
The card splitter will cost you +- RM 350.00 . *hint* Do a search where to get this unit.

Where to get extra Assthrow decoders
U can buy second hand assthrow decoders via electronic shop or online site such as lelong or ebay. It only cost you +- RM 80.

Doesn’t that involve cloning of one’s smart card making it illegal?
This sounds like a scam to me. Why is the warranty for the splitter unit only for 1 month? What is the other 3 cards used for? To my knowledge, you would need an astro card in order for your decoder to work.

@Flasher . please do a search on seca2 card splitter. The card splitter must be imported in small number and not by a company. thats may explain why the warranty is so short. for another explanation please read this post Disclaimer. Yup, u need a functioning astro card to do this. have a look at the picture and u`ll understand .

actually what ass-tro is doing is illegal in some countries because they’re arm twisting the consumers in the sense that you have to buy additional subscription if want to watch two astro channels at the same time EVEN IN THE SAME HOUSE!!!
In other countries, you only need to buy additional decoders NOT buy additional subscription if in the same household.
They can do that here because of monopoly & because they are protected by the powers that be.
In fact, some of their practice are also unethical. For example, you cannot termination your subscription within one year from subscribing, in fact you have to pay a hefty penalty.
Another was when they increased their subscription rates by adding more channels & not giving the consumers any choice. Just to justify the price hike!
CONSUMERS DO HAVE RIGHTS!
Anyway! I welcome & encourage the use of the smart splitters!
btw, the smart splitter can’t be used with the new ass-tro card …. is there any new splitters in the market?
