In other countries, you only need to buy additional decoders NOT buy additional subscription if in the same household. They can do that here because of monopoly & because they are protected by the powers that be. In fact, some of their practice are also unethical. For example, you cannot termination your subscription within one year from subscribing, in fact you have to pay a hefty penalty. Another was when they increased their subscription rates by adding more channels & not giving the consumers any choice. Just to justify the price hike! CONSUMERS DO HAVE RIGHTS! Anyway!
