Imagine one day when u can travel from Sydney to London in less than 2 hours? Yes, this is so possible when a prototype jet engine at Mach 10 makes into commercial. A new jet engine named scramjet which does not carry its own oxygen supply was successfully tested in Australia. Without its own oxygen supply, this jet engine is lighter, cheaper and faster. I am hoping that space tourism will be no more science fiction with the advance in jet technology.
