The teeth, if any should be there at all, should be pointing downwards, so that he stops penetration due to pain. (should he be using his penis in the first place).

Secondly, pointy painful teeth are not as much of a deterrent as a woven net of plastic barrier to break through.

And like all the other posters pointed out, what if they sodomized her, what if they used other objects?

not a practical means of rape deterrent. nothing beats self defense, or mace.

This is an effective device, and I believe it has valid applications, but nothing works better than avoiding these situations, a rapist may hurt you before penetration, or hurt you during oral penetration, preventing biting, or may not even use a part of their body at all, or penetrate somewhere that could hold this device, such as another natural orifice or a wound. The rapist may not even have the body part these devices are designed for.
NEVER use this device to harm another during consensual sex. If people consent to have sexual relations with others solely to use the device to injure them, and possibly take advantage of them, then it will take credibility away from this device and may contribute to it being taken off the market or made illegal.
Keep a weapon, a dog, don’t be alone, and/or learn how to efficiently protect yourself in addition to this device. It is not a substitute for taking an active role in protecting yourself.

Imagine it in practice.

It’s be hanging out a little any way so he’s gonna see it.
